Our Story

Connected Innovation was established in 2021 with an ambition to strengthen the links between Norfolk and Suffolk’s innovation assets. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest regional innovation ecosystems in the country, now covering half of the East of England – Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

Connected Innovation has grown from an initiative joining together the innovation hubs, universities and research institutes, into a full ecosystem approach landing key innovation support programmes, working in partnership with key regional cluster networks and establishing a finance and investment group that draws in the key funders of innovation in the region.
