Welcome to the fortnightly issue of What’s coming up in Barclays Eagle Labs! Below we have briefly summarised activity coming up that is available for businesses to take full advantage of including programmes, events, content and more. Reports Tech in the UK 2023 – Innovation Nation   Our tenth in a series of thought leadership reports, Tech in the UK 2023 – Innovation Nation, has been published in partnership with Beauhurst and funded by the UK Government, to provide a detailed view of the growth trends and opportunities, within the UK tech sector. In addition to the main flagship report we have also produced eight regional reports, deep diving into company population stats, investment levels, support nodes and wider information on the most prominent regions within the UK’s tech ecosystem.   Read the report here
Programmes Cyber Bridge   Cyber Bridge is a programme we’ve developed with CodeBase, to help address the rise of ransomware attacks. This programme is designed to help startups and established businesses to understand the different approaches to collaboration and disruptive innovation in cyber security.   Applications close 12 April   Find out more and apply here  

Energy Transition Bridge Unlocking innovation to help support the transition to green energy. Opportunity North East (ONE) working in collaboration with Codebase and Barclays Eagle Labs are launching a new programme focused on the transition to green energy.   Applications close 26 April   Find out more and apply here    

Global Connect   This virtual programme, in partnership with Panache Ventures, is designed to give ambitious founders the opportunity to learn from Silicon Valley veterans and teach them how to scale, expand and raise funding in the US.   Applications close 21 May   Find out more and apply here    

Sustainability Bridge   To help support a transition to low carbon transport, Barclays Eagle Labs and Codebase are launching a new Bridge programme. The Sustainability Bridge will focus on transport and micromobility, such as bikes, e-bikes and electric scooters.   Applications close 26 April   Find out more and apply here    

AI Bridge   This programme is designed to help both startups and established businesses understand the different approaches to collaboration, and disruptive innovation in generative AI so they can harness the potential for greater productivity.   Applications close 3 May   Find out more and apply here  

Black Founder Accelerator   We’ve partnered with Foundervine to run the Barclays Black Founder Accelerator, a programme especially designed to champion diversity in entrepreneurship and showcase Black Founder-led businesses. Foundervine is an award-winning social enterprise with a strong track record of helping entrepreneurs from under-represented communities to start their own business.   Applications open 3 April   Find out more and apply here
Events   Gearing up for your product or service launch   11 April 13:00 Daniil Shcherbakov is an alumnus of Cambridge Judge Business School and a regular speaker for the school’s Entrepreneurship Centre. Exploring ClimateTech: Exploring the potential of retrofit   25 April 12:00 Join Lucy Lyons, CEO of Kestrix, as she discusses current progress in retrofit technology.
