What is Made Smarter and what’s on offer?

Our programme is funded by central government and we work closely with all of the other Made Smarter regions across the UK. This programme is designed to support manufacturing SMEs with their growth journey, boosting productivity and upskilling staff. Our four main priorities are leadership, adoption, innovation and skills.

Manufacturing SMEs can access:

• A personalised digital transformation plan, developed with a manufacturing expert (a roadmap for implementing digital technologies within the business)
• Tailored consultancy to help put that plan into action
• Support with change management to bring your team along on the journey
• Funding to help with the purchase of new technology and equipment (match funding)
• A peer-to-peer network of manufacturers sharing best practice and support
