Latest updates and opportunities from the Connected Innovation team

We have come to the end of another busy month in July, with the Connected Innovation team supporting a number of events across Norfolk and Suffolk and the UK.

The month began with the team supporting the NAAME Annual Conference at West Suffolk College, the conference was focused on Digitalisation in Manufacturing and was joined by over 200 attendees.

July also saw the Innovation Labs open a new site in Norwich, expanding the network to 27 Innovation Hubs, alongside hosting two events to mark the launch of ‘The Future’ programme in Suffolk.

This programme, which is being delivered by Akcela in Norwich, is supporting local tech startups and has secured funding through Barclays Eagle Labs Ecosystem Partnership Programme and supported by both Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils, alongside Connected Innovation.

The Connected Innovation Hub Network met this month to update on the local innovation ecosystem along with a number of events and initiatives in the pipeline.

We rounded off the month by joining our colleagues at Norfolk and Suffolk Unlimited, NAAME and Space East exhibiting at Farnborough Air Show. The exhibition proved to be a huge success with the team acquiring over 100 contacts.
