Connected Innovation champions innovation at Sync the City 2024

We’re proud to announce that Connected Innovation will be a primary sponsor of Sync the City 2024, a flagship event fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Norwich.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Sync the City, which will take place from Thursday 28 November to Saturday 30 November 2024 at the King’s Centre in Norwich. The event will bring together aspiring entrepreneurs, developers, designers, business minds and marketing experts for a 54-hour challenge – in which they transform innovative ideas into viable businesses. Participants will receive invaluable mentorship from Norwich’s business community experts, accelerating their journey from concept to reality.

James Allen, Programme Manager for Connected Innovation, commented: “We are delighted to support Sync the City in the 10th year of this flagship event. It very much fits with our commitment towards bringing talented people together to help shape the innovation landscape in the east of England.”

Since it was first launched in 2014, Sync the City has has transformed lives and led to innovative spin-out companies and innovations – such as the Safepoint app for lone workers, developed by University of East Anglia (UEA) graduate Callum Coombes after winning a prize at Sync the City in 2017 for pitching this idea.

John Fagan, Founder of Sync the City, expressed his gratitude for Connected Innovation’s support, stating: “Sync the City would not be possible without the support of sponsors like Connected Innovation. Their commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the East of England is a perfect fit with the event, and so we couldn’t be happier to have them onboard for our milestone 10th year.”
