Latest updates and opportunities from the Connected Innovation team
As March comes to a close, it’s been yet another busy month for the Connected Innovation Programme. Throughout this month, the team have been involved in various events across Norfolk and Suffolk aimed at promoting emerging opportunities and our cluster partners.
Among these were the Hydrogen Roadshows at OrbisEnergy and Holkham Hall, organised by Hydrogen East as part of Hydrogen Week. These events highlighted regional hydrogen opportunities and showcased businesses and stakeholders working to advance the sector and implementing hydrogen solutions.
In collaboration with Tech East and Aviva, we also supported the Fintech Hackathon at the Digitech Factory in Norwich, focusing on developing technological solutions for the financial and insurance industries. The event saw participation from prominent businesses. tech scale-ups and students, with support from several partner organizations.
Finally, we supported Space East, Freeport East and NAAME at various events linked to agri-tech, transport, clean energy and manufacturing.
Looking ahead to the final week of March and early April, our schedule remains packed with upcoming events. We’ll be backing the 2nd AI Summit at Norwich University of the Arts, hosting a business support workshop at the Nourish Food and Drink Conference, and sponsoring/chairing the ‘Up and Coming Technology and Innovation’ session at the MSTSC Marine Energy, Science, and Technology in the East of England event.
